On September 14-15, super typhoon Mangkhut devastated numerous communities on Northern Luzon Island in the Philippines. As of 6PM of September 24, the death toll in the region reached 103 as several bodies were retrieved from the Itogon landslide. 35 people remain missing in Baguio City and Itogon, Benguet. Dozens of landslides and road closures have left communities isolated, and massive flooding continues to present threats to public health. Many communities are still digging out from the destructive landslides, and dozens of people are still missing.
